Common questions about migrating from Microsoft 365.

Will our email addresses change?

A domain migration aims to preserve the existing business addresses. Your team's addresses stay the same — what changes is where that email is hosted.

Does WigoSend replace Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint?

No. WigoSend is an email and team communication platform. Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 services are outside the standard WigoSend email migration scope.

Will we lose old messages?

A correctly planned mailbox migration is designed to transfer existing messages. Retain the source environment until migration verification is complete.

Can we migrate without changing our domain?

Yes. The normal objective is to move mail hosting while continuing to use the company's existing domain.

What happens to shared mailboxes in Microsoft 365?

Shared mailboxes can be migrated as standard mailboxes in WigoSend, or configured as shared inboxes through WigoSend Team. The destination configuration depends on how the shared address is used.

Do I need to cancel Microsoft 365 first?

No. Keep Microsoft 365 active throughout the migration and only cancel or downgrade once post-cutover verification is complete.
